( OLEUM HYSSOPI )

Hyssop oil is obtained through steam distillation of blossoming racemes of the hyssop plant ( Hyssopus officinalis L ) cut at 5 - 10 cm below the lowest flower node.

Appearance: Oily liquid
Color: Pale yellow-green
Aroma: Strong, sweet and warm. spicy,  camphor aroma. slightly bitter taste

Density at 20°C: 0.9100 – 0. 9550
Refraction number at 20°C: 1.4780 – 1.4850
Acid number: 0.5 - 2.0
Ester number: 16.0 – 28.0


Content of basic ingredients, %:
Camphor: 8.0 – 12. 50; Cineol: 9.0 – 12.0; Geraniol: 2.0 – 3.0; Borneol: 2.1 – 3.0
Composition:
Aromatic esters, alcohols, ketones, lactones, etc.
Expiry term: Two years as of the manufacture date.
Packing:
15 liter aluminum cans, 100 liter sealed drums, 200 1iter zinc-coated barrels; customized packing units are negotiable.
Storage: In cool premises far from thermal sources, observing the fire protection rules.
Application: Ingredient in perfumery and medicine, flavoring substance in the food, wine and tobacco industries.
