Wormwood
oil is obtained from the epigeous leafy part of the annual wormwood ( Artemisia annua )
through steam distillation.
Appearance:
Oily liquid
Color: Yellow-green to brown-green
Aroma: Specific for the annual wormwood
Density at 20°C: 0. 8200 – 0.9600
Refraction number at 20°C: 1.4700 – 1.4950
Acid number: Up to 10.0
Content of ketones (such as isoartemisia ketone), %: Above 20.0
Composition: Isoartemisia ketone, camphor, cineol, isoborneol, methylhavicol,
artemisia alcohol. artemisia acetate, pinenes, camphene, cariophylene, etc. |
Expiry term: Three years as of the manufacture date.
Packing: 15 liter dark glass vessels, 100 liter sealed drums,
200 1iter zinc-coated barrels; customized packing units are negotiable.
Storage: In brimful vessels, in dark and cool premises
Application: perfume bases and compositions, perfumery and soap production,
pharmaceutical industry for treatment of skin diseases.
